ESRI-MUG 2008 Annual Conference and Call for Papers

It’s time to start thinking about your presentation for this fall’s ESRIMUG 2008 Conference!  The conference will be held on October 28-30, 2008 at the Clayton Hall Conference Center on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.  We have guest rooms held at The Courtyard Newark which is adjacent to the conference center.

The conference will feature ESRI taught workshops, keynote speakers, vendor exhibits, poster displays, user presentations, and ESRI technical sessions.  An evening social will be held on October 29th from 5–7 p.m.

We encourage everyone to submit paper presentation abstracts and register for the conference as soon as possible so we can best plan for accommodations and events.  Paper abstracts should be submitted on-line at www.esrimug.org by June 27th, 2008.

Conference Fees:

·         $150 for the workshops on October 28, 2008 ($175 late registration);

·         $275 early bird registration for the conference on October 29-30, 2008 ($300 late registration);

·         $200 for presenters;

·         $140 for students; and

·         $650 for exhibitors ($700 late registration).

For more information on the conference, contact Brendan Ford, at Brendan@esrimug.org or 703-324-3792.

For exhibitor information, contact Delaney Meeting and Event Management at 802-865-5202.

We’re also actively seeking help in planning and organizing the conference especially from those who are in the Philadelphia or Wilmington area.  Here’s a great chance to get involved with ESRIMUG, meet some new colleagues, and to have some input into the conference content.

2008 ESRI-MUG Golf Tournament
